Bull in a China Shop

Tonight we celebrated my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. I can't imagine how much patience it must have taken to put up with each other for 60 years. Even though marriages have ups and downs, it is quite an accomplishment.

We ate at a wonderful steak house (yummmm!) and that got me thinking about steaks, which in turn led me to think of the movie For Pete's Sake. I love the scene where the bull goes through the china shop, and nothing is broken until she knocks on wood, and everything just shatters. I think life is like that sometimes, skating on thin ice, and getting by quite well, until one more thing brings it all down.

I'm stuffed and ready for a nap, so that's all for tonight.
